On August 13, 2021, the final of the Demacia Cup took place in Iceland. In the matches of the two teams, EDG and IG successfully advanced to the knockout stage. Both teams ultimately entered the playoffs as the second-place teams in their respective groups, and EDG and AG Super Play will compete in a double elimination format.

After the first match, the teams were divided into two groups, with each team earning 4 game tickets (BO5) and 6 skin fragments in the previous five-game three-win series. In the following five-game two-win series, the strength of the two teams reached 7:1 and 9:0, respectively. The two teams defeated DK with a score of 3:2 in 10 minutes and advanced to the top four.

In the first game, both teams did not earn many points, but both teams received two boosts. The victory in the second game earned them more rewards in the game time (lost to GGO in the first game), and then they won the first ticket (BO3). The win-loss relationship between the two teams then became 3:2, 5:0, 1:5. After this game, the match will officially begin, and one of the two teams will be determined among the eight teams that advanced from the third week of the Demacia Cup.

In the fifth round of the match, both teams earned two map tickets. In the sixth round of the match, the two teams will advance to the final of the Demacia Cup through the qualifying match. The winners of the two matches will summon a dragon in the middle of the river at 11 minutes and 20 seconds. In the fourth round, the two teams respectively summoned a giant bear monster in the middle of the river and the left side. In the fifth round, the two teams respectively summoned the Dark Elf King on the left side and the right side of the river. In the eighth round, the two teams summoned the Crimson Demon Werewolf in the middle river. In the ninth round, the two teams summoned the Wild Boar Warrior on the left side. In the eleventh round, the win-loss relationship between the two teams was decided by the two teams in Group A. (As shown in the figure below)

“League of Legends” official announced that a global final will be held in Europe from 3 a.m. to 10 a.m. on September 21. Teams from Korea will participate in this event through online qualifiers and compete in a BO5 round-robin points race. The final two teams will enter the Demacia Cup final and compete for the title of Demacia’s king.

In the group stage, the match between EDG and WE will reach the 7th minute, the 13th minute, and the 15th second; and after the halftime, the second game of the DK team will result in DK’s elimination.

As for the final results, EDG’s match will use a BO6 three-game two-win system to determine the outcome. In the match, DK’s players also received the MVP and they all got multiple kills! In the final of the Demacia Cup, EDG defeated QGhappy 2:2 and successfully advanced to the top four of the Demacia Cup final.

In the final match, the EDG team defeated JDG 4:1 to achieve the final victory. In the end, in the last round of the group stage, the DK team defeated EDG 3:0 and won the Demacia Cup championship!
