On June 30, 2018, VeChain announced the official launch of its mainnet and released its roadmap. The first phase plans to launch the decentralized financial service platform VeChain by the end of 2019. The second phase is expected to launch the decentralized private placement market, DeFi trading, and payment system VeX by the end of October this year. The third phase will support decentralized ecosystem applications such as the digital currency exchange Venus. The fourth step plans to complete the testing network deployment and main network integration of the world’s largest blockchain wallet Ethereum by the end of 2020. The fifth step will open node recruitment to help developers quickly get started with DApps and develop smart contracts. The sixth phase will begin testing in September and will be gradually released.
