On March 17, 2018, Korean blockchain company Kakao announced a partnership with Streamr and sold the Bitcoin-based network token SRM (StandardHashrateToken) to its customers. It is reported that Klaytn plans to utilize its technology to create programmable and permissionless stablecoin SRAM and apply it to applications and products in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.
